Leaving You Is Killing Me In every band there is a unique sound. I believe "The Steel Creek Bluegrass Band," have done just that. Most bluegrass bands play hard driving, and lightning fast, but Steel Creek plays with a pleasant easy feel that make them easy to listen to. From the moment I put in their CD, I knew I would enjoy it to the very end. Band leader and banjo player Bill McDonald, is one of Steel Creek's original songwriters. One of his originals; "Leaving you is Killing Me," is a well written song that is complimented nicely by it's heartfelt melody. All the band members do a wonderful job picking and singing on this recording.    Guest musicians and mandolin players Wayne Benson ( from IIIrd Tyme Out), and  Ashby Frank, spice up the sound a little bit, along with dobro player Kim Gardner, add the right touch to the rest of the album. All in all, "Steel Creek" is a good listen, and I highly recommend it! Add it to your collection, and enjoy!       Lou Reid
